which performed to our customer's requirements, and this has now expanded into full production, together with the production of many variations of this branched hose for their equipment.
HOSES
This is a strength product for Valley Rubber and forms the mainstay of our production. All our rubber hoses are autoclave cured as part of a very flexible process which allows us, with careful planning, to make both small and large volumes of products in the same facility on the same day.
Formed and Shaped Hoses
We currently produce large volumes of unreinforced hoses, commonly called formed rubber or shaped hoses.
They find a whole range of uses from automotive right through to domestic equipment.
We have an established range of tried and tested rubber compounds that allow us to make these products with a clear understanding of product quality and service performance based on our experience.
These hoses are typically for low pressure applications but by using materials with the correct modulus and tubes with adequate thickness we would expect them to operate continuously at 1 bar at 100 degrees C. They would expand by no more then 10% at up to 3 bar at the same temperature.
Within this range we can produce shapes with added side pipes (sometimes several) which are bonded into the main tube.
We can produce a range of diameters from 0.8mm internal diameter up to approximately 200mm and maybe a little more depending on the material and/or shape of the product.
Reinforced Hoses
In addition to the ranges of formed hoses and shaped hoses described above we are able to hand build reinforced rubber hoses for small to medium volumes or specialist applications.
The hose liner, reinforcement and top cover can be discussed and tailored to suit the medium being transported and the pressure requirements.
Side pipes can be built in.
Hose diameters from 0.8mm up to 200mm and up to 2.5 metres long can be manufactured at the facility.
