Valley Rubber hand make silicone rubber mouldings and silicone rubber hoses to your custom designs.

All the products are made in our factory in South Wales. Typical products are water hoses, radiator hoses, air ducts, turbo hoses, intercooler hoses and general purpose hoses.

We can line the hose with fluorosilicone to impart oil resistance.

We can reinforce the silicone rubber mouldings with either glass fibre, polyester or nomex type materials depending on the heat resistance required. Typically the silicone hoses range from 5/10mm i.d. up to 200mm plus.

This is a speciality of Valley Rubber and we believe offers major advantages in oil and fuel, particularly fuel vapour, resistance when compared to fluorosilicone / silicone rubber hoses. The comparative features and benefits are listed below.

Silicone Rubber Lined Ducting

We make a range of spring air ducts in a variety of diameters and lengths. In effect they are a coil spring with a single layer of silicone polyester fabric and because they are standard products there is no tooling to pay for.

The advantage of this product is it's simplicity and ability to flex round corners into the tightest bends without the diameter collapsing. Full flow of air between two points is maintained at maximum  for the diameter of the spring.

Due to the heat resistance of the silicone rubber they are often used to connect automotive air intakes to a heat source such as an air box round the exhaust or to a radiator shell to pick up warm air.  For one off or special applications this can be a cost effective way to get from air pick to air box, or from air intake to heater system.
